The waves were a mixture of water and ice and gave a slushy sound as they crashed against the shore. I ended up laying on the iced over shore to get these photos, which as an after thought was probably not the best idea when I was sick.

I participated back in August in my first two day art show. The show was Art & Soul on the Fox in Downtown Elgin. It was a wonderful experience for my first show. I am so thankful to have won a Certificate of Merit! My first art show award! While I only participated in one art show for 2015 I do plan to try to do many more shows in 2016!
